Best Colleges for Women's Tennis

Playing women's tennis in college is a challenging and rewarding experience, whether or not you desire to make it into a professional career. Tennis can be competitive, challenging, and a great experience for serious athletes.

Recruitment often begins early in high school. DI teams are usually the most competitive, and are able to provide more athletic scholarships. DII teams are usually found at smaller schools but still can be quite competitive. DIII schools do not offer athletic scholarships, however academic scholarships and other financial aid may be available for those who qualify. Students need to take into account their ability, desire to play, and most importantly the school's academic record when making a decision on where to attend college.
