Best Colleges for Men's Rifle

Due to the relatively small amount of rifle teams in U.S. colleges, the NCAA hosts a single championship for rifle teams in which all divisions compete. Many teams are co-ed, but some colleges have separate men's and women's teams, and some have just women's. Teams compete with each other throughout the year, with NCAA championships being held in March.

Being on an NCAA rifle team will require commitment, as members often have practice 5-6 days a week. There are some scholarships available for DI or DII teams. DIII teams are unable to offer athletic scholarships, but other forms of financial aid may be available. Another way to help pay for school is to join an ROTC program while also shooting for the rifle team.
